Dr. Gene Minix _________________________________ No Limit To The Power Of Prayer _______________________________________________
What is the greatest source of power? Is it the sun? Is it a great army? Is it the atomic bomb? A missle heading for the outer limits of space? NO! The greatest source of power is PRAYER!
Prayer changes things and it changes people. Frank C. Laub-ach has a book called Prayer, The Mightiest Force In The World. I would have to agree with him, it is the mightiest force in the world. I have seen the power of prayer in my own life and in the lives of others so many times. I have learned there is nothing, and I mean nothing, too great for the Lord. Prayer offers a source of power through which you can rise above yourself and the challenges you face in your life. It is a source of power through which you can find hope when there seems to be no hope. It is the source of power through which a person can find strength and perseverance.
And no one has found the limits of the power of prayer. There are none! The person given up by the doctors, has been healed. The troubled have found an inner peace and a joy the world could not give. The weak have found strength. All this and so much more, through the power of prayer. And it is through prayer and our acceptance of Jesus Christ that we find acceptance from God.
In this fast moving and hectic world, we need prayer. We are faced with so much in our lives. We are surrounded on every side by the expected and the unexpected. Many feel the world is closing in on them. They become frustrated and lose all sight of hope. Little problems become giant problems. You may be one of these people. You are about ready to throw your hands up and call it quits. Prayer can make all the difference. It can change your life and your outlook on life. It will give you new hope. You can face anything, any challenge, and become the conqueror. Take some time each day and spend it in prayer. "Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." (Jeremiah 33:3.)
